Our voice is subtle and at times loud. Note that your thoughts are the gateway to us and this leads to a two way street. We are free and able to communicate with you this way. My Mother's Earrings: A Lesson in Compassion

   

     "Farhan can you please help me with my earrings?" I rushed over to my mother to help her out. We were running late for an event and pressed for time. This was becoming the norm in our household as my mother is elderly and slowing down a lot these days. In the past  I'd be in a huff asking her to hurry. I"d be looking at the watch as I quickly assist with her jewellery. She can't hold small things like the backing of an earring and finds it difficult to clasp her necklace or watch. I've just gotten into the habit now of helping her with these things. But this particular day something changed in a way I'll never forget. I've consciously been working on seeing people with compassionate eyes and being present. I set the intention a few weeks ago to be more compassionate after watching an episode of Super Soul Sunday with Oprah Winfrey. On this episode, author Karen Armstrong stated that the world needed more compassion. That message really resonated with me. So I started a daily ritual of seeing at least one person, usually a stranger with compassion. I'd focus on them  and wonder "what is their story?" What have they gone through in life?" Only on this particular day  it was with my mother.
 
      I helped her first with her right earring and as my hand touched her ear lobe I had flash back to when my grandmother passed away. I was very close to my mom's mom and when she passed I was fortunate to be by her side. She kept the gaze of her eyes strictly on me holding my hand taking her last breathes as though still trying to hold on in that last moment. I gave her permission to let go and have her soul depart from her physical body. I felt the wave of peace as she took her last breath and closed her eyes ever so gently just like the gentle soul that she was. I was asked to remove her earrings as the ambulance was coming to take her. I remember how it felt to feel her earlobes as I removed them. They were cold, soft but lifeless. All of sudden it was like a polarizing moment in my life. My sense of time suddenly seemed more important but not becuase of the clock but because of this moment and the treasure that came with it. One that I would never forget.
     
     I payed closer attention to how my moms ears felt as I helped her with each earring. I came to be  totally present and in the moment. My senses made note of each ear. The colour, the temperature and softness.  I put on her watch and as I saw her hands I wondered all the things she had touched in her lifetime? What did it all mean to her? How was she really affected by everything she went through? . I thought about all the things she did in her life time with her hands such as holding me as a baby, the many meal preparations, and the way she touched so many people over the years. These were just some of thoughts that  were crossing my mind. I made note of the scent of her perfume. She was wearing Angel as she always did but this time I tried to take that scent and place it my memory bank.

             "Can you please tie up the back of my dress?" Her dress had a two strings that tied at the back of her neck that helped keep the dress together.  I wanted to remember every detail. The colour, embroidery and the fabric. After I tied it together I put my hands on her shoulder and in my mind I said "thank you God."

              The simple task of helping my mother get dressed became one of my biggest lessons for compassion and living in the present. To this day she is my greatest teacher. What I took away from this experience will always stay with me. She may not even realize it but she offered me the chance to know and appreciate her in a way I had never before. I felt like we shared a breathe together and was grateful for the time when she was breathing for me.

           What I can say with certainty is that compassion is a door way to experience the divine. It is the pathway to live each moment to it's fullest with gratitude. It allows us to feel peace and forgiveness for others and especially ourselves.  It brings people closer together. It heals anger, jealousy and hatred. It is proof that every moment in time, every experience and every breath is a miracle.

An Important day in Angel Numbers for today's date 11-12-13. When added together ='s 9. This signifies a time to focus on Spiritual Growth. A period of awakening and realizing it's time to stand up as one. Dear God and the Angels,
We ask that you provide extra protection and support to all the children today. Please help them with feeling courage, faith, trust and most importantly to know without a doubt that they are loved unconditionally. God each child has a divine right to feel safe, protected,  the rights and liberties to completely be themselves. Every child has been created in your greatness, in your vision and as such deserves to be treated the same regardless of their orientation and preferences. This earth should be a safe haven to explore, learn and allow every soul to grow as they desire. We know that you have provided us with all the tools to walk our lives with the ultimate knowing that we are not alone. There is no isolation. There is no fear. Those are just illusions. We ask that you send love and light to the one's who are so inflicted with fear, who feel so powerless that they feel that they need to take away the power from those who are considered different or weaker in any way. Reassure them that the only power is the power of God. There are no outcomes that has promising results from fear based actions. This only causes suffering for all. Only acts of love toward each other are acts that are in alignment with truth, with love and with the path to you. We ask for special angels to help all children who are being bullied. God lift and cradle them in your arms. Hold them close to you. If their hour becomes dark shine your brightest light so that they know you are watching them, guiding them and showing them that they are safe from all harm. Lessen their load and lighten their obstacles. God we thank you for providing all these children with grace. We thank you for the gift of life. In your darkest hour there is light. When there is no solution there is light. When you are alone there is light. When you feel the rope has tied you in a knot you can't undo there is light.
Dear God and the Angels. We ask in prayer to help all those who are suffering from addictions to be healed on all levels and in all directions of life times. We know that there is no power greater then the your power  and we ask that you illuminate your brightest light to show a pathway to health, wholeness and healing. Please help lift and carry all the burdens of all those suffering. Make them see that the way to you is the way to healing. Give them all extra angels and guides to support them on their journey. Calling All Angels and light workers. We are asking for your help at this time for little three year old Daniel. We are praying to God and the Angels that he return to complete wholeness in mind body and spirit. Please heal him on all levels and functioning. Dear Russia: A Prayer to Release all Fears

I don't know if a boycott to the Olympics will solve the worlds problems of hatred and ignorance. But I do believe in prayer and I offer at this time that we all pray for a resolution for us all.

Dear God please shed your light on the ignorant and free them from themselves and their fear based beliefs. Help us all to feel and see only love in ourselves and in others. Help us to be the witness of transformation from fear to the place where everyone of us is held and treated as one. As each of us are your children we are all deserving of the same things. We are all deserving of equality, the rights to our natural freedoms, the right to express our truth as long as it is directed from our hearts to the hearts of others. We are all deserving to be respected, valued and appreciated.
Dear God the power of love, that is your power is the greatest power of all. Please illuminate this love in all those that have chosen the path of fear. Help open their heart to receive this love so that they know there is no other form of power that they can embrace.  Let all our intentions be created from the sacred space of the seat of our soul knowing that our actions will only result in that which is for the highest good for ourselves and for ALL. Please help us on the path of transformation by over seeing these changes in Russia and in every part of the world especially in those people that are in a place of political power.

What to Do When the World Feels Heavy

There are moments when I feel the heaviness in the world. And like everyone I too feel a sense of frustration. It can be hard to hold your light and be a leader when the frequencies seem so low on our planet. Many perceived injustices, issues of inequality, hatred, fear and war leaves many to think we've been abandoned. It's easy to get angry and want to express rage. Perhaps even take a side of situation and retaliate.
It's times like this where I have to remind myself what my role in all this is as a light worker and how I can best contribute to the greater good of all. After all that is what I came to this planet to do. That is the commitment I made. Staying true to my purpose authentically keeps me in alignment for myself and helps others that may be feeling so much fear.
My role as a light worker is not to judge the actions of others. It's not to decide who's right and who's wrong. It's not to express  anger and rage. It's not to go to any sort of war. All these are fear based energies. That only adds to the existing fear.My role is to assist by shifting consciousness to a higher frequency utilizing the tools that God has given me. My role is to use my authentic power by using words, thoughts and actions that are based in love. I still believe love is the healer of all things. Love can transform all fear.
God has given us tools on earth to help us through every situation in our lives and our worldly issues. We have Angels, prayer and God himself to turn to. Our every thought and action is either helping or taking away from the collective good of all. And so it is within us to create change starting with ourselves. This is our responsibility. Change begins with the intention to want to make a difference. Intention to be of service will support us all. Actions that are based in the emotion of love is the only way to make this happen. Each individual has the capacity to call on the divine, pray and to use higher energy thinking.
The truth is that we are not abandoned. Though there are times of injustice, hatred and all things based in fear. There always is a higher reasoning that will allow us to grow, learn our lessons and ultimately strengthen our relationship with the divine. It's up to us to trust in this process. We all have choices in every one of these situations. You don't have to be a light worker to make a difference. You just have to have the right intention.
When you set intentions from a place of love you come into alignment with your authentic power and not external power. External power is based on control and manipulation and is ego driven. Authentic power allows for us to be guided by our soul. It allows us to utilize higher energy thinking. It results only in positive outcomes for all.

Dear God and the Angels,
I am calling on you all as at this moment I feel there is heaviness in the world and in my life. We need your support to lighten our load, take away the pain, create peace and harmony in our lives. Dear God and the Angels,
we call on you on this darkest hour to shed your purest light on Cory and all his loved ones. Please carry, cradle and hold his soul in your arms as this is the place where he is safe, supported and loved. God Showed Me His Love

It began when I woke up today and I thought to myself "Thank you. I've been given another day to live." And so God began to show me his love the second I opened my eyes. I felt fortunate, blessed and appreciative that I had been given another day. Another opportunity to live, see and experience so many amazing miracles. I felt incredible gratitude. I knew I was fortunate that I was given another day.
I went for a walk. I saw the colours of the sky, the flowers and trees. They all seemed so alive. I said "thank you. I noticed the sounds of birds, cars driving past me and people including children. Everything made me smile. All the little things I was experiencing were like it was for the first time. I said thank you. I noticed all the different scents.It smelt the freshness of spring. That scent of a new beginning was so real to me.  I said thank you. . Every moment was an opportunity to experience God and I believe he was showing me his love in all these things. I was thankful that I could begin my day this way. I knew with certainty that God was speaking to me along my way. All I kept saying was "thank you."

Dear God and the Angels, we ask you in this time to help us feel peace. Please help us to feel peace again within ourselves so that our every thought, action and deed is based in peace. What is My Purpose? Finally the Answer to your question!

What is my purpose? I'm sure many of you have asked this question at some point in your life time. We all have wondered or questioned the meaning of life and how we fit in? Perhaps at this time you are lost? Confused? Unsure about what it all means? Why are you on this earth? Sound familiar?

Some of you can relate to this when I say that my purpose means I have to do great things that people will admire and I'll win a huge award for. Are you here to cure cancer? Get a Nobel prize? Or give up your life and serve humanity like Mother Theresa did. This all sounds great and perhaps may be true for a small percentage of you. But your purpose actually begins first with an internal realization. A realization that is foremost required before you go out and try and save the world.

Let me break this down to you simply. First of all wake up! Yes wake up! This isn't all about you. This isn't about serving you and only you. That old age egocentric way of living is so old school and it's not going to fly any more. Not in this new world. And for the sake of the future of our home, planet earth.
You're purpose is to wake up and realize firstly that you are part of a whole picture. That your every being, from your thoughts, actions and or lack there of are always contributing or taking away from the collective whole. We are one. And so if you chose to awaken you have chosen to know this consciously. That is you are aware that your every thought is having an impact on the collective, including your family, friends and the people of the world at large. Now think about this for a second. That means that experience everyone is going through is being experienced by everyone. Everyone's illness, success, disease, happiness, laughter, anger, joy etc. is truly everyone's experience. So now let me ask you this. How are YOU contributing?

The basis of your life purpose is to consciously be aware that you are in fact a part of the bigger picture. And subsequently your main purpose in life is to be of service. When we are of service we are contributing to consciousness as a whole including ourselves. Service comes in all forms. And at the most basic level it starts with our very own thoughts. Our thoughts are either adding or taking away from everybody's experience. Thoughts have power and cumulatively have an overall effect on us all. Thoughts that are based in love will ultimately lead to actions that are loving and therefore only create positive circumstances. Thoughts based in fear create fear based outcomes that lead to destruction, confusion and all things negative. Love and fear can never co-exist. It's one or the other. No exceptions.
So be conscious of your thoughts as what you think is YOUR choice.

Once your awakened you'll naturally want to fall into a job that fulfills you. There are many careers that have the potential to be of service. But you don't have to be doctor or a physiotherapist like myself. When you do something with passion and find ways to be of service to the people around you you are living your life purpose. How are you being of service in your current job? How are you able to help others? What else can you do now?

However,  if you're still looking for ways to serve and find your purpose try writing, reciting this prayer "Dar God how may I serve you? Please use me as a vehicle to serve you in many different ways in my life. Thank you" I have this phrase posted on my wall so I can see it every day.

Where you are now is your purpose. The people around you at present are there for a reason. Always begin with gratitude. There are many reasons to be thankful for where you are at now. When we are grateful we operate from a higher frequency. Try starting your day with a gratitude journal. I have one at work I keep at my desk. I start by writing at least five things that I'm grateful for.

Finding your purpose isn't all that complicated. Ask not what is the right career for you? But ask to be guided how you can turn your passions into ways in which can best help others. The door to a more meaningful life and purpose driven life starts with knowing that we are all one. When you come from this place you are already there!

Please let each and every child know that they are loved, cherished, treasured and deserving of all their dreams. I Approve of Myself

I have to say I wish more and more people would stop trying to seek validation. I believe that if you are being authentic you don't need to try to validate who you are. We really are all the same and no one is 'special' yet we are ALL "SPECIAL!" The ego is so subtle in the way it emerges through us when we want the approval of others. I"m learning to be aware of this in myself as a spiritual teacher. I know this is my lesson too.
