#IStandWithDeepika

Training Deepika Padukone for "XXX The Return of Xander Cage"

Today is December 1, 2017 and what should've been the release of Padmavati. I'm quite baffled and saddened as to the reasons for it's delay. Right winged Indian fringe groups are only interested in serving their own agendas. They are seeking media attention and hijacking the popularity of Padmavati and Deepika Padukone for their own self serving purposes. Their intention is to spread fear and to terrorize innocent people. They've been told repeatedly that there is no such romantic dream sequence between Hindu Queen Padmavati and the protagonist Muslim ruler Allaudin Khilji. Their stance remains despite this clarification. This isn't new news.  In 2000 they also called Deepa Mehta "anti Hindu" and burned the sets of the movie 'Water' without even reading the script proving then and now this is not about religion. Its about corruption and abuse of power. We see through your falseness. The light in the world is brighter then your darkness.

As a trainer I teach every client that every choice we make is rooted in either 'fear' or 'love.' And the consequence will always follow accordingly. Our reactions are just as important as our choices and their consequences are also dependent on whether we respond with 'fear' or 'love.' As a collective we must make our choices consciously. We must believe that our truths, our voice and how we express this can have a positive or a negative impact on our world. You can never have a positive outcome with a negative intention.

#IStandWithDeepika for her and all artists and for their right to express their creativity. For their right to choose to play characters they feel aligned with and for their own personal growth and journey. For their right to live their life purposely by creating artistry that the world loves to watch with pride, enjoyment and healthy escapement. Deepika Padukone, Deepa Metha and other artists never meant to be controversial but simply to be an artist and to create the best master pieces that their audiences would appreciate. They and others do not deserve hatred for doing their job.

#IStandWithDeepika and with all women. These death threats are from misogynists. It is oppression and hatred toward women. It's abusive masculine energy that needs to be exposed and called out for being just that. I stand with all these women in solidarity and support.  This fear based belief systems must end. We must all take a stance, use our voices and step into our power to end this and all hatred.  Each and every one of us must rise up.

#IStandWithDeepika. I am proud of her courage, determination and for standing her ground as she states in the following quote:

“Well, at this point, as a woman, an artiste and a citizen of this country I feel angry, I feel let down and I also find it amusing. I will never feel scared. Fear is not an emotion I have ever identified with.”
Since training Deepika Padukone for "XXX The Return of Xander Cage"  and "Padmavati" I have witnessed and supported her transformation physically, mentally and spiritually. Her voice and presence is empowering to all women. She's confident in her belief systems and a true trail blazer in creating change for the better. It is an honour and a blessing to help all my clients this way, especially my female clients.

The controversy surrounding Padmavati is here to teach us that when we choose 'fear' we become divided. And when we chose 'love' we become united.  I know Deepika Padukone and everyone involved worked very hard on this film. Let's all give this movie and every person that made it the benefit of the doubt. There are many who have been waiting anxiously to see this movie including myself. It is my hope that the movie will be finally released for the enjoyment of all.
